Righteousness in Faith

Childless Abraham believed the Word of God to leave his land, his kinsmen, and the protection of his fathers house to go out, into the unknown, to a promise of blessing, influence, and family yet realized (Gen. 12:1-3; 15:6).

While he beheld the promised son, he was not an eye-witness to the fullness of what God promised, but some 4,000 years later we have seen far more than he did, with yet more to behold, until we stand with Abraham before the throne and the Lamb on that glorious day (Jn. 8:56; II Cor. 5:7; Rev. 7:9).

“Abraham believed the Lord, and He accounted it to him as righteousness.”

Be well. Shalom.
